I remember that when we had to go to Laiya or Hugom from the bayan, we would ride jeepneys and that wouldn't cost us as much as what you paid for the trike! Though Laiya is really quite far from the bayan, I think the trike fare was a tad overpriced. But then again, the last time I've been there was some two years ago so I don't know. I love the people in Batangas because they are so warm and friendly. Your post makes me want to go back so badly to see my foster family.
