I really admire you Lauren. I strongly agree with you about some bloggers being so full of themselves and acting as high and mighty and with that ” I am important and praise me ” attitude. I am very new on this blogging thing. I started my blog just for the sole purpose of keeping a dairy of all my discoveries, my love for fashion and anything under the sun. I hope i could somehow be just like you. But i really don’t know where and how to start I hope i can be your mentor somehow. If i’ll get lucky. You really inspire me.

Just stumbled on your blog. I remember in grade school, You were passing an autograph book (slum book). You added a question: “Blog:” And our classmate were like, “what’s that?!”

Congratulations on 13 years. I really enjoy reading your blog and am glad to have stumbled upon it after Googling something to do with tentacle porn and Japan. No joke. Morbid curiosity compelled me to Google it with the naivete of an Internet novice. The I found your blog. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll publsh your favourite entries.

I have to agree, man! I don’t use blogging to vent against someone who pisses me off (anymore! Learned from experience!). And yep, if you don’t want to get into trouble, NEVER blog about work. No no no. But making friends through blogging has been really great – blog buddies! – and I gotta say, it’s like reading the newspaper; you have to have your daily fill. Been to your new beauty site several times and I must say I miss your scribbles back here! Cheers!

You know, I got into blogging after I stumbled upon your site back in 2000.

I know what you mean when you said that one of the most important lessons you’ve learned after 13 years of blogging is that one must not get too personal. I’ve locked up most of my pre-2006 entries because they’re too personal and revealing for comfort. Now that my entire family is online, and all of my friends (even those I mentioned in my earlier blog entries) are online, among other considerations, having a blog that reveals too much and is too open and unrestrained makes one quite vulnerable. Haha. we were too young to understand. When I have kids, I won’t let them keep a personal blog till they’re 18.

anyway, keep it up lauren! more years of blogging and writing to come!

Hey Lauren.. I’m your number one fan. I read every single entry you made. Yer HS entries are my favorite. I like the way you update your journal (diaryland) all the way to nimrodel. I learned a lot form your journal and from reading your entries. You write very well and made sure even the small details such as colon, semicolon are in place :). Because of you, I got interested in having my own journal and blog. I started in 98 and I still have my blog and my journal up to now.

What I like about you, you’re never afraid to say whatever you want to say. Your ideals and values never change. Keep blogging.
