A good daily strat is to get on once a day 10-15 minutes before your next tick. Get your attack stats beyond maxed and buy as many elites as possible. Start with the lowest range you can reach and attack only automators who probably have lots of gold. Use the money to re-max your attack stats and buy more soldiers, then attack magicians and mongerers with quite a bit more land than you. Time it so you're done attacking and maxing out your acreage when the tick rolls over. You should get a buttload of gold. Cast alchemy as many times as you can and buy hundreds of thousands of soldiers. You should be getting a lot of gold per hour, and your attack should still be near 45%. Do nothing for 24 hours, get back on, and find that your acres are low but your gold says something like 200,000k. Repeat the entire thing. Stay inactive during the 24 hours or your alert level will drop and you'll get attacked more often. My acres are all over the place, but I'm at 5 mil elites and growing every day. Also, I've gone from level 1 to level 48 in less than one summer. I'll make 50 by the end of it, b/c I'm attacking 75-100 times a day. This is a little high-maintenance, but it's quick, fun, and really pretty simple and very effective. I do the monger strat.
