Yes, unless you're trying to get a job where unconventional is part of the job description, most employers (even here in Canada) don't go for the multi-coloured confetti hair when it comes to YOU representing their company to their conservative clients. You may not like it, but that's the world. Of course, it doesn't mean you lose your personality and dress like all the other corporate zombies. :) Anyway, nice hair.
