Posted by Lauren | Under Tattoos and Piercings with 8,848 views Saturday Sep 16, 2006Lately I’ve been looking at a lot of piercings and body modifications that people have done, so i thought I’d blog about the more interesting ones I’ve seen.
Apparently, you can get surgery done to make your ears look like this:
It’s called ear pointing and from what I gather, it hurts like a bitch, takes ages to heal, and there’s no a guarantee that your ears will end up looking that flawless. I’m not sure I’d want that done on me because it’s too freaking permanent and twenty years from now, the elf thing may not be so cool anymore. Do I think it looks awesome? Hell yeah. If somebody paid for the surgery, aftercare, and the trip to the US and back, would I get my ears pointed? Probably. *coughcough*
This, by far, is the coolest piercing I have ever seen:
I’m pretty sure that’s not permanent, but I guess if he keeps the piericng open with a shorter barbel it might last. I have no idea why people are giving him so much crap for his piercing, though. I think it’s fucking awesome and if I could, I would get that done and spend an entire week camwhoring and cosplaying X-23. I’d probably win first place too. I mean, who can beat implanted claws?
Lastly, a picture that always makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time I look at it.
I want a new piercing, damnit.

The elf look? Pfft. I think you’ll find you meant the Vulcan look. They’re practically identical, but Vulcans are so much cooler than elves, and Star Trek will NEVER go out of vogue so you wouldn’t have to worry about the surgury dating. Heheheh

Body mods are cool sometimes….once i started getting pirecings and tattoos..I dont know its almost addictive? but i have to really limit myself unfortunately cause i dont think too many companies would employ an engineer with long blue hair, lots of tattoos and facial pirecings (things i have or want to have U__U) Good luck with the new pircings..I started doing mine myself (belly button and a few ear
) cause it was cheaper….and really not that hard to do if its sterile and the needle is sharp
hello! the photos look awesome. especially the dad and child. i like it. i do tattoos and piercings. but i cant get my kids to
have something like that. too sad. 
anyway, getting a piercing should not be cheap. cause you might end up spending a lot more for meds and even hospital bills when you get infected. you should get it from a professional, one who has the experience and knowledge of what he is doing. especially when it comes to sterilization procedures. piecing your own belly is a serious thing. if you use a wrong gauge you could rip your skin. and it is not going to look sexy that way.
