I'm an advocate of animal rights and it sadens me that other people do not seem to pity animals such as stray cats. I read that it was supposed to take place last Aug. 11, 2006. The sad reality is that strays multiply way too fast for animal shelters to find owners and they just cant afford to feed them. In the U.S. most of these strays end up in kill shelters where they are killed if not adopted within 72 hours or so. But i believe this is done with lethal injection so death comes with less suffering (i think). But for Ateneo to drown cats?? That's just mercilessly cruel.
