The end of summer

According to this site, Chanchu, an almost-typhoon, has hit the Philippines. It’ll pass in a few days, but that’s all right. For one glorious day, we have been saved from the searing heat of the tropical sun.
Of course, rainy days are only good when you know you’ll be doing nothing more than reading in your room and playing PS2 games all day. Commuting in the rain is quite a hassle, mostly because I hate the squishy feeling of walking with wet Birkinstocks. Luckily, I made no social plans for today so I shall be enjoying the wonderful weather with a nice roof over my head.
hi lauren. rainy days are nice sometimes. here in san diego it’s been cloudy almost every day. usually it’s always nice and sunny. i miss the sun.
There’s just been too much sun over the last two months. The windy, rainy weather is a very welcome change.
Damn, I wish that rain had traveled east to California. I hate sunshine.
don’t you find it crazy-weird that even though it’s been raining on and off for the past 4 days, the temperature has still not gone down? it was pouring earlier this afternoon but it was still so hot that as soon as it let up i ran down to our building’s swimming pool to cool off. crazy weather. i should be getting a cold pretty soon.
