I didn’t realize how crappy the story really was until I read the sixth book. I still like the concept, but there’s no character development whatsoever! Everything is just too obvious. I suppose it’s because it’s a children’s book, but still. There are series for young adults that an adult would find clever and thought-provoking.

like all the harry potter books, the central problem is harry gets to be the hero too easily. and it seems that he gets very very famous and still lives a normal life is ludicrous. in today’s world (which he lives in), he would be mobbed and stupid malfoy wouldn’t ever have a chance against him. the best movie of the lot was the 3rd one i think. this one was just ok.

All I wanted in the Goblet film was that it show Moody turn Malfoy into a ferret.

I think “HP & the Goblet of Fire” the book is good as it is (it won a Hugo Award for Best Novel) but the movie missed A LOT of important points to actually explain why things happened. It was frustrating and in the end I was like “That was it? Where is this and that?”
