Can you believe this comment? Is this guy drunk or just plain iggnorant? I especially love the generalization about African Americans and Irish Americans. I guess it's true what they say about opinons and assholes.

I was just like you when I was young, lusting over an LV bag (bags are my fetish). Now that I can afford it, I buy them when I want to but now feel sickened about the addiction. :( Just be careful...

Luxury brands are a sign of good life, and a USD800 bag is not that expensive for those who earn big time (hint: USD100K earners are not up there yet but there are factory outlets for them).

To maximize your ROI, you just need to choose a color and style that you can mix/match with the rest of your wardrobe.

Anyone with the money to buy a $1000 bag will only use the thing once or twice - so where does quality become an issue?

You obviously don't know me. If I spent that much money on an "accessory", I'd use it all the time. Besides, brown is a classic color; it'll go with a lot of things.

I was in Buckhead (rich area of Atlanta). All the woman in the LV store had realy bad face lifts. Gross! I make about $100,000/P50,000,000 per year, and I would never buy that ugly bad, or get a face lift. Most people who buy LV in ur nation a African Americans, Irish Americans don't spend money like that.

When we got a lot more money, and my wife wanted color contacts. I hated them. I like Brown eyes, and I hate posers.

I’m still buying a real Louis Vuitton. It’s not the brand I’m after, but the quality of the bag.

Quality? Anyone with the money to buy a $1000 bag will only use the thing once or twice - so where does quality become an issue? Maybe it just betrays my student-bum philosophy, but I am constantly astounded as to how anyone could ever spend that much money on an accessory.

my friend and i were talking about how insanely unfair imitations look like the real ones that when people see you using them they won’t even notice if it’s a fake or the real thing!!

I know exactly what you mean. I see so many women with Louis Vuitton bags but chances are they're probably not the real thing. Even though they look the same, I'm still buying a real Louis Vuitton. It's not the brand I'm after, but the quality of the bag.
